Welcome to the EN 13606 Association site
The main aim of this Association is to become a meeting point and the prime source of information about the CEN/ISO 13606 EHR standard for healthcare providers, hospitals, IT-vendors and regional and national projects. At the same time, to pave the way for a next release of the CEN/ISO EN13606 EHRcom standard based on existing implementation experiences.
The association as a not-for-profit organisation with open membership.

The EN 13606 Association Board is pleased to announce that the EN 13606 Association General Assembly 2013 will take place next June at the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona Medical School, Barcelona, Spain.
As last year, the General Assembly will be completed with scientific and working sessions showing the work done around the EN13606 standard and its on-going renewal process. This activities will take place the 6th in the evening and the 7th of June.

EN 13606 Association liaison agreement with CEN/TC 251 |

We are happy to announce that in December 2012 the EN 13606 Association signed a liaison agreement with CEN/TC 251 "Health informatics".
This agreement seeks for a deeper collaboration between the two organisations, now that the EN 13606 standard is about to start its renewal process. The EN 13606 Association will provide the expertise and experience of its members to the standardisation committee in order to achieve an updated, improved and ready-to-use reference standard for the semantic interoperability of health information. All members of the Association are invited to collaborate in this effort and we also invite all the other health informatics professionals interested in the EN 13606 norm to become a member of the Association and provide their own experiences and ideas.
